1. GO TO ART EVENTS WHERE YOU CAN FIND SIMILAR THINKING PEOPLE. CREATIVE PEOPLE NEED SUPPORTIVE PEERS TO INSPIRE.
2.CREATE IN ANOTHER DISCIPLINE. FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU ARE A WRITTER START TO KNIT. SWITCHING IT UP KEEPS CREATIVITY EVEN STRONGER.
3. IF THE MUSE ISNT VISITING, GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AND VISIT HER. MAKE ART DATES WITH YOURSELF, VISIT CONCERTS, ART GALLERIES, READ SOME NEW BOOK. SKETCH IN A COFFEE SHOP. TAKE A NATURE HIKE. LOOK FOR A BEAUTY IN ORDINARY THINGS! ART IS ALL AROUND US.
4. SOMETIMES THERE ARE NON-PRODUCTIVITY PERIODS. DONT GIVE UP… JUST RELAX, DREAM, IMAGINE, DONT OBSESS. SEPARATE YOUR CREATION FROM BUSINESS.
5.LISTEN TO OTHERS SUCCESS STORIES.
6.REMEMBER WHY YOU STARTED CREATING YOUR ART. WHEN YOU WERE 5 YEARS OLD ART AND STORYTELLING WAS SO FUN! REMIND YOURSELF TO WRITE, TO PAINT OR WHATEVER BECAUSE YOU ENJOY IT. KEEP LOOSE, FEEL SPONTANEOUS.
7. JUST DO IT!
DONT WAIT FOR MUSE BECAUSE SHE VISITS DURING THE ART ACT. START NOW AND START ALONE.
